It all started in 1970 when United Church Ministers and two Catholic Priests met to discuss the plight of the needy in Windsor.
This humble beginning led to the creation of Windsor Homes Coalition Inc in 1975 to provide clean and affordable housing.
In 1995, a second division was created, Windsor Coalition Non Profit Homes Inc and the agency strived to expand its programs. Ever growing, as the needs of those in Windsor, the organization has embraced the change that has come with its growth.
In 2019, Windsor Homes Coalition Inc was renamed to encompass its true purpose more fully to be called Windsor Family Homes and Community Partnerships.
More than just a name, this organizational rebranding focused on the partnerships and relationships that WFHCP had been creating with those in the community. These partnerships have been essential to providing more supports and programs to those in the over 120 housing units provided by WFHCP.
